Cherry Bomb: The Indian Larry Twisted Frame Chopper
Produced in collaboration with our friends at J&P Cycles. Check out the build specs & behind the scenes details! rvz.la/4aY8eAV
We may have launched a whole new segment of chopper-building with our latest build, Cherry Bomb…the performance chopper. We started with an iconic Indian Larry twisted down tube frame that's wrapped around a classic power plant from the S&S Cycle. From there, we started adding tried and true performance parts, including everything from carbon fiber fenders to sport bike level brakes until our Frankenstein-build morphed into something we haven’t seen before. Follow along as Patrick heads to the sunshine state to shake down the build and give you the skinny on how it all came together.

    With some engineering I got these to fit my crf110,oem peg stand,it was a nightmare but I was stuck with the ones I bought which where for cr150 250 etc,had to cut and file which took a whole night for 1 side but it worked,just have to stand on it for confirmation but it's on and functioning,problem wad one side has this long tab which imo is intentional on honda,why would they vary peg bar mounts?cmon now

    I hope that one day, Americans will realize that the whole world is not just the USA, but extends beyond it. People watch your channel from all around the world and have no clue about what you are talking about if you use pounds, lbs, inches, and other nonsensical units of measurement. Please, people of America, you are the only ones left in the world with this obsession. It is 2024 now; let's move on!

    test makes no sense. New tires are conservated with special "wax" to maintain their shelf life. Tire really starts to age when it is used, put through heat cycles and in contact with uv light.

    Should you downshift to 1st when comming to a stop? seems weard...

    • @Schrimpieman
      @Schrimpieman День тому

      This was a demo to show how the gearshift works in conjunction with hand(s) synch. Deciding to shift into N or 1st upon deceleration depends on riding conditions at that particular instant. Detail to recognize by a novice is that a rider can "slip" thru N directly by a 1 --> 2, or 2 --> 1 shift..... or the rider can pause at N without going into next up-down gear.

    • @Schrimpieman
      @Schrimpieman День тому

      An experienced (and smart) rider would downshift in unison with decel speed (upon intention of full stop) all the way to 1st gear when rolling to a traffic stop, and stay in 1st until confident that everybody else (....cars....) have come to a complete stop all around you as well. Only then go into Neutral. Stay in 1st as a precaution just in case idiot behind you doesn't stop in time and potentially slams into your rear tire. At least you have that split second (avoiding delay of clutch-in and shift) to get out of harms way.

    • @Schrimpieman
      @Schrimpieman День тому

      @@arercee5528Nope. Wrong. An experienced rider familiar with their bike can up & downshift without clutching if throttle is manipulated delicately. The bike will tell you if done right or not. Bike jerks during shift? Ya did it wrong. Smooth & seamless & RPM changed accordingly? Did it right. I've been doing clutchless shifting when conditions permit on my '87 FJ12 for decades now. When just putt-putting around town, no need to clutch. Clutch needed? ....sure: When riding more aggressive. All depends on immediate conditions.

    • @arercee5528
      @arercee5528 День тому

      @@Schrimpieman you’re right in most instances. Some bikes, especially low revving or bigger bikes with heavy flywheels might not take too kindly to clutch less shifts. You have experience and know your bike, so I’m sure it’s nice and smooth. I think the majority of people will mess up on 5% of clutch-less shifts, which can add up over time and wear out your gearbox/clutch/flywheel. I just wouldn’t recommend it if you want to take care of your bike.
